Saturday Salsa Socials in 2010:

This is our Saturday Social night, with a format of:
8pm Intermediate/Advanced workshop with the FANTASTIC Marchant & Davina
8pm Improvers workshop with Tracie ('on1')
9.30pm Dancing until 11.40pm
If you are serious about your Salsa, then join us for these workshops as they concentrate on the technique and quality of moves rather than the quantity.
Entrance for workshops £10 (includes dancing until midnight)
Entrance for party night only £7
Fantastic venue with superb dance floor, air con, licensed bar and most of all an exceptionally friendly vibe.

TLC's Salsa, Swing & Tango Ball @ Winchester Guildhall, SO23 9GH
WOW! We had such a blast at the 11th TLC Ball and thank you so much for all the wonderful feedback. We had another AMAZING event with a FANTASTIC night of dancing and everyone looked gorgeous, especially the guys. Check out the wonderful photos courtesy of Solent Studios and you can purchase your favourites online: CLICK HERE. Swing Xtreme performed 3 high energy routines full of tricks, rolls and comedy! (as seen on Strictly Come Dancing) and if you were one of those unlucky people who missed the event and could not get a ticket as it had sold out (and there were many!), then put next year's event in your diary: on Sat, 26th February 2011!
Now a request for EVERYONE who attended the Ball - could all of you please check that the coats you wore at the beginning, were the same ones you went home in! One lady and one gentleman discovered that their coat & dinner jacket (respectively) had been taken and others had been left behind. Please double check your own and let Tracie know so that she can ‘re-home’ the right coats.

Directions for the TLC Salsa Swing and Tango Ball at Winchester's Guildhall :
Directions to Winchester Guildhall
When you reach the city centre, follow the 'TLC' signs for the Guildhall with directional arrows to guide you in to the venue (courtesy of Tracie)!
Coming from London/Basingstoke, take J9 from the M3 (you cannot take J10 from the North)
Follow this road straight all the way until you come to the Winchester one way system
Turn left (and look for the Guildhall signs which I erect to guide you in)
Go straight until you reach a roundabout
Turn right at the roundabout into The Broadway and pass the Guildhall on your left
Turn left into Colebrook Street, pass 2 archways and the library, and then parking is on the left in the pay & display car park
(There is no charge after 6pm even if you have to take a ticket through the barrier)
Coming from Southampton, take J10 on the M3 to Winchester
Follow all signs to City Centre & then follow the 'TLC' signs directing you to the Guildhall (courtesy of Trace!)
When you get to King Alfred's statue in the middle of a roundabout
Go straight over into The Broadway
The Guildhall is on your left hand side (large impressive building)
Pass the Guildhall on your left and turn left into Colebrook Street
